The Valley Falls Housing Authority (VFHA) is a governing board responsible for overseeing the operation of the Sunset Haven Apartment Building, a key community housing facility in Valley Falls. Established in 1967, the VFHA ensures the efficient management of the 24 one-bedroom apartments within Sunset Haven, offering vital housing to local residents.

The VFHA consists of a five-member board, each appointed by the Valley Falls City Council, which meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm in the community room of Sunset Haven. These monthly meetings are an opportunity for the board to discuss operational matters, address community needs, and ensure the ongoing success of the facility. Through its work, the VFHA plays a crucial role in supporting affordable housing in the Valley Falls area.
