The City of Valley Falls has retained Governmental Assistance Services (GAS) from Lawrence, KS to conduct a Low-to-Moderate Income survey to qualify the city for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). A Community Development Block Grant could help offset the costs of future infrastructure and community facilities projects, potentially saving the city hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Representatives from GAS will be conducting the survey door-to-door beginning on March 12, 2025. The survey professionals will knock at your door, identify themselves, and ask four short questions. Each survey will take less than one minute, and all survey responses will remain strictly confidential. Surveyors are expected to complete the survey in four weeks or less.
